Frequently Asked Questions

How much time does it take to prepare for a Green Tourism Assessment?

It depends on your primary goal for undertaking an assessment. Most of our members are seeking¬†a benchmark, advice and roadmap for future improvements, while gaining recognition for where they’re doing well. If this is you, we suggest that you read through the Getting Started Guide and Criteria Checklist, and spend at least a couple of hours thinking about where you’re awesome, where you have opportunities, and how you will answer questions during your assessment.

Some of our customers are real keeners, and are striving for perfection to¬†ensure the very highest score possible. If this is you, it could take a little longer, but don’t overthink it! The assessors are not the “Green Police” and are here to help and support you to take your green efforts to the next level.
